The Haworth Band
Haworth Village Hall
The Haworth Village Hall have kindly let us use their large main hall so that we are able to rehearse while socially distancing to meet Covid restrictions.
If you would like to join us please contact us.
The Haworth Band is a long-established and celebrated brass band situated in the picturesque Pennine village of Haworth in West Yorkshire - home to the literary 'Bronte' family and the Railway Children.
The Haworth Band strives to serve the local community and to provide a forum for musicians of any age who enjoy playing music in an ensemble. We endeavour to encourage the development of new players and provide instruments and musical tuition.
We rehearse on Monday evenings in our newly refurbished band room in the Haworth Village Hall - 7:45pm start.
The Haworth Band is a registered charity dedicated to developing musical skills to ensure the longevity of a brass-band tradition in the community - Charity Reg.No. 511250
The Haworth Band would like to announce a fantastic start to 2020 and welcome Keith Richmond as our new MD. Unfortunatley due to lockdown we had to stop rehearsals but we are now back and our first few rehearsals have been excellent and we look forward to continuing our development under Keith's wealth of knowledge, skills and experience.
To support our growth we always welcome new players. If you are new to the area or haven't played for a few years, please get in touch.
